Snapshots of Hong Kong

As the title says, here’s a collection of snapshots from my most recent trip to Hong Kong. Spent four full days in Hong Kong this time around. I stayed in Kowloon for the first half, then Hong Kong Island for the other half. Even though the city is so small, traveling back and forth was a little exhausting. Good thing I packed light!

The first row of shots are mixed. The first photo was taken in Tsim Sha Tsui right outside the Kowloon Shangri-La Hotel. The two other shots were taken in the courtyard at my hotel in Youth Square. It was very muggy in Hong Kong and I hated the heat. At least it was only June! The second row were taken from Central along the Mid-Level Escalators, which is the longest outdoor covered escalator in the world.

Obligatory food shots! Café de Coral is my favourite spot for a cheap meal in Hong Kong. Macaroni for breakfast with a cup of lemon tea, then baked pork chop rice for lunch. (Not on the same day of course!) We went on a noodle run right before heading to the airport in Central. 羅富記雲吞麵! Wonton noodles taste the best in Hong Kong.

Squeezed in a buffet lunch as well and went out for teppanyaki one night. Tried wagyu for the first time too! Of course, nothing beats going for dim sum while you’re in Hong Kong. It’s a must-do if you’re ever in the city. =)
