A couple weeks ago we took Toshi to a shiba inu Christmas party. The last time we went to any sort of shiba gathering was months ago and since this one was closer to home, we decided to take him there. I was so surprised when we got there since there were at least 40-50 shibas inside! Toshi was really happy being around the other dogs, but I think he was also scared at the same time, because he’s never played with so many shibas before.

There were so many different kinds of shibas – white coat, black coat, red coat. If we had taken him off leash, I think we’d have a hard time figuring out which one he was! The indoor doggy park was actually a lot of fun for him. It would have been better if he would mingle more with the other dogs, but it was fun seeing him walking around. The organizer got everyone lined up for photos and it was amazing seeing so many shibas in one picture! There was also a present exchange at the end and Toshi loved his gift. It was great being able to take him out to his own little Christmas party. =)
