Mayday in TO

Mayday in TO

Probably one of my favourite concerts in Toronto. Seeing them perform live in Toronto was so much more amazing than watching them in Japan. While Zepp Tokyo was a more intimate setting, the stage at ACC was lot bigger, so I got the full experience with all the lights, videos, and of course the confetti. =) Backtrack to a couple months ago when they announced their concert tour, I had a really difficult time buying tickets to their show. TIFF13

TIFF13

I somehow managed to luck out at TIFF this year because all my films were absolutely amazing. In the 10 years I’ve been going to the festival, I’m usually disappointed by at least one film. However, there must be some magic in the air because I really really enjoyed all five of my selections.  The first movie I saw at TIFF was Like Father, Like Son. Matsuri

Matsuri

Even though we were on a tight schedule, we managed to grab a bite at Santouka Ramen right before our movie. I haven’t tried many ramen places in Toronto, but this was by far my…

Hanami

Hanami

We might not have had much of a spring this year, but I was super happy that we still managed to have hanami in Toronto! Last weekend was the nicest weather we’ve had all year, so it was perfect for our day out in the park. Early morning I woke up and helped prepare onigiri and inarizushi for our picnic later in the day. After picking up Yoo-chan all three of us were on our way to High Park. It…
