For our final day, we pretty much spent our time in transit. We only managed to catch a couple hours of sleep after returning from the aurora viewing, but we had no choice as we needed to catch our flight to Edmonton in the morning. Last full day in Yellowknife! After the slightly disappointing aurora viewing the night before, I dragged myself up from bed after a few hours of sleep and made breakfast. After coming back from our first night of aurora viewing, we pretty much slept through the morning and didn’t leave the hotel till noon. Luckily the temperature was warmer, so we didn’t freeze as much as we did the first day. We began our day touring the Prince of Wales Northern Heritage Centre.
