Culture Exchange Day

Culture Exchange Day

I had another jam packed day for my first full day in Aichi. Since it was easier to meet up with friends on the weekend, I was booked solid the entire day. It also meant I had to carry a load of souvenirs and presents with me from the moment I left the hotel in the morning (popularity has its downfalls lol). As it was still early, I started my morning off browsing through some of the shops at Meieki….

Kariya Delegation 2014

Kariya Delegation 2014

Another delegation come and gone! The time seems to fly by so quickly during the week of the delegation. Matsuri

Matsuri

By the time I got to Kariya Park that day there were already a lot of people waiting. The Mayor had been attending a luncheon…

Kariya Delegation Part 2: Farewell

Kariya Delegation Part 2: Farewell

After all the festivities from Canada Day, everyone deserved a good rest on Saturday, which was a free day for all the delegates and the host families. I on the other hand, had to returned to work at the library. T__T Sunday was the official ‘Farewell’ Party. While it technically wasn’t the last day for the delegates, it was a good time for everyone to have one last group dinner together. Dinner was held at the Port Credit Yacht Club,…
