Day 2 in Korea was by far the coldest day for us. We spent nearly 4 hours outside in -20c temperature while visiting Changdeokgung Palace. Note to anyone visiting the palace in the winter – there are no facilities with heating inside, so be prepared to stay outdoors the entire time you’re there. Happy 2016! It’s been a while since I last updated on my life in Nagoya. After my semester ended I spent about a week and a half in Hong Kong. It was nice seeing all the festive cheer in HK during the holiday season. It definitely felt more like Christmas there than it did in Nagoya. After waking up the next day, we spent the better part of the morning tour the Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic. The indoor exhibits spread between three floors of the building and included an aquarium. There were also two vessels outside we could visit which came along with our admission tickets. Getting back to my East Coast trip. My favourite spot out of all the scenic locations we visited had to have been Mahone Bay. I would say it was definitely worth making the drive from out from Halifax to spend the day there. Early that morning up we picked up our rental car and drove straight to Mahone Bay.
