New year new start

Happy 2016! It’s been a while since I last updated on my life in Nagoya. After my semester ended I spent about a week and a half in Hong Kong. It was nice seeing all the festive cheer in HK during the holiday season. It definitely felt more like Christmas there than it did in Nagoya. It’s hard to imagine my classes are done! Honestly it felt like it was yesterday when I was preparing for school. Even though classes only lasted 10 weeks, I definitely learned a lot this semester and I’m grateful that I met some wonderful classmates and teachers during this time. Settling In

For the past week I’ve been getting nicely settled in with my host family in Nagoya. Everyone is super nice and treats me as part of the family. I really lucked out this time! My host mom cooks really yummy food every night, so I have to be careful I don’t gain 10 pounds coming back to Canada.
