Matsuri & Night Market

Matsuri & Night Market

Last weekend I spent my entire Sunday in Toronto going from one outdoor event to another. My favourite part about Toronto in the summer is being able to attend outdoor festivals and getting to eat my share of street food. It was super fun going to the second annual matsuri and having my first night market experience in Toronto! We started off the afternoon by visiting the ROM. I finally had a chance to see the Forbidden City exhibit. It…

Dogsledding Adventures

Dogsledding Adventures

Last full day in Yellowknife! After the slightly disappointing aurora viewing the night before, I dragged myself up from bed after a few hours of sleep and made breakfast. After grabbing all our gear, we got picked up at 12:30pm to begin our dogsled tour at Aurora Village. It was my first time doing a day tour with the company and it was definitely much more relaxing than the nighttime aurora viewings. We had a much smaller group, so it…
