The next couple of days in Tokyo were completely jammed packed. Yamadera & Yamagata

For our last day in Tohoku, we started the morning with a breakfast buffet at the ryokan, then we took the shuttle bus back to Sakunami Station. It was surprisingly a nice day out, so instead of taking the local line directly to Yamagata, we did a two-hour stopover in Yamadera.

After a windy start to our Tohoku trip, we were lucky the remainder of our time turned out much better. As our schedule was so packed this time, we decided to scrap some of the touristy things and reserve a few hours to do our shopping.
