Masterworks from the Beaverbrook Art Gallery
Masterworks from the Beaverbrook Art Gallery was a world class exhibition of paintings by 16th-20th century European and Canadian masters, including renowned artistes like Dalí and Matisse. The touring exhibition had a four-month stop at the Judith & Norman Alix Art Gallery. The development of branding and promotion materials began well over a year before the opening. Marketing materials were designed to attract visitors and to build hype leading up to the opening day. The exhibition was positively received during its run, generating $1.58 million in economic activity for the city of Sarnia, and attracting more than double of the amount of anticipated visitors.
